There are no canteen services available in the primary school, and the children therefore bring a packed lunch – cold or in a thermos flask.

There are two services of lunch:

• 1st service: the five kindergarten classes from 11.20 to 12.15
• 2nd service: the eight junior classes from 12.15 to 1 o’clock.

The same lunch supervisors are in charge of the same class for the whole year (three per class in Petite Section, two per class from Moyenne Section to CE1 and one per class for Cycle 3). For each service the children have at least 30 minutes to eat their lunch. Those who have finished go out first accompanied by one of the supervisory staff. Another supervisor remains in the classroom with the slower ones and comes out with the last pupils.

At the end of the lunch break, i.e. 12.15 (1st service), the teachers collect the children from the yard.
